Jorge Andrés

Jorge Andrés practices law in the areas of Criminal Defense, Appeals, Family Law and Immigration and Nationality.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Golden Key National Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Mr. Andrés earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, which included a semester of study at Oxford Univeristy, in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.

Mr. Andrés was admitted to the bar in Florida in early 2003. After admission to the bar he practiced law in Bradenton Florida for several years, working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant State Attorney, he handled thousands of criminal cases and over one hundred trials, including homicides and a case televised and covered by then Court TV. Mr. Andrés worked his way up to lead trial attorney before leaving for private practice. Mr. Andrés has gained extensive criminal defense and family experience since entering private practice.
